My students are bright, curious young thinkers enrolled in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme- a rigorous, college-level course of study for high school juniors and seniors . They come from diverse backgrounds & bring unique perspectives, creativity, & resilience to our classroom every day.
In IB Language & Literature, students learn to question, analyze, and connect ideas across cultures and time periods. Many are the first in their families to take advanced courses, & while they are motivated to succeed, they don't always have access to the same resources as students in more affluent schools. Their determination to grow as readers, writers, & global citizens inspires me daily.
