My students are a wonderful reflection of an ever-changing America, different colors, different cultures, different ways of life. We are a Title 1 school, one that serves underprivileged children. Many of my students come from homes and families who do not speak English and have parents who struggle to provide food and shelter. Our school is a safe haven for our students. Each day in school is an opportunity for our students to learn, grow, and become everything their parents have sacrificed for.
