These materials will make a comfortable environment for my students to learn. Some of the materials will allow the students to understand basic motor imitations, being able to respond to questions appropriately, and having a successful life outside of school. Our biggest goal is to see the independence of the students.
Intensive teaching is the basics of the classroom. We want out students to be able to label items, perform and label actions, as well as being able to request for items that they want or need. Intensive teaching is our lesson plan. In order to say a target is mastered the child needs to get it correct on 3 consecutive days. For example, each student gets 2 targets for each section. As far as tacting which is labeling, they will need to label 2 items that they see on an everyday basis. Here are some examples: car, bike, cat, spoon, and book.
