Many students have large learning gaps due to COVID-19. My goal as a teacher is to shorten if not fully remove any gaps students may have. I believe that in order to do so, I have to present the information in many different ways visually, vocally, and in a physical hands on way. The math quickies, folder games, stem resources, and other games will allow me to give the students a hands on resource that will help them practice and learn new skills. Splash multiplication and division will bring a new, more engaging then flash cards, way to learn our facts. Delivering lessons in a creative, fun, or hands on way is the best way to not only engage your motivated learners but also the best way to get active engagement from your struggling learners. The materials requested will allow me to achieve this with my students. The paper requested will go a long way in making many homemade skill based games, science projects, and provide STEM resource. I hope to bring lessons alive for my students and show them learning can be fun even while in the middle of a pandemic.
