My students have been learning basic coding on the computers. It is difficult to express all the things students can do with coding. With your help, the students will be able to code robots to do exactly what they want them to do. The student will get to try out their codes and then revise them until they have the device doing the exact right thing. This will help the students think logically, work together, build perseverance, and solve complex problems using coding. The robots will help my students be engaged and get an insight into all of the possibilities of coding. It is my hope that the students will become more interested in coding and choose to continue to take courses in the subject in our high school. Our state alone currently has over 20,000 coding jobs open without people with the skills to fill them. Weather the students want to go into coding or not, its principals and logical thinking are valuable in any career or situation.
