I use visuals, pictures and hands-on learning in my classroom. I use these strategies because they help me communicate effectively with my students who speak different languages. Students learn to communicate with me and their classmates through visuals, pictures and hands-on activities. After so many years of using the same pictures and posters, they have become old and tattered. With a new laminator, I will be able to make and repair pictures for my students.
I believe and I feel that I can inspire a passion for languages by using visuals such as pictures and hands-on leaning activities. One of my goals is to inspire my students to love learning, but I also want to celebrate their language and culture.
