I want to give my students a renewed kindergarten experience. Many of our students come in to kindergarten with little to no social interaction with other students. I plan on using these items to help increase social interaction with my students. I plan on doing this with the tools that they need to experience going to a local farmers market. I want my students to experience what it is like to go to a local market and pick out fruit and produce. They can also work on sorting items as well as counting them. The students can have a chance to see different items that are grown and sold in stores. The students will get a chance to experience play and learning all in one. They can interact with their peers in a learning environment building the social interaction skills that they will need in their school career.
