This year I am continuing my flexible seating options in my kindergarten classroom. I used carpet squares and small mats last year to allow students who wanted to spread out on our fully tile classroom floor to do so comfortably. The mats I used last year were borrowed, and I am in need of my own mats for student use. My project will help get ten bathroom mats, that are large and comfortable enough for my students to work in their own space.
My students last year greatly benefitted from flexible seating options, and I hope to continue with my new students in August.
