In my classroom, I incorporate a variety of multi-sensory learning strategies, small group, learning centers, and technology, in order to ensure that each child's needs are being met. Technology is an integral part of my 6th grade English Language Arts & Reading classroom. Modern technology devices, such as computers, tablets, and games allow students to approach lessons differently. Students who struggle with learning disabilities may find their education to be more productive with the aid of technology. Educational software, games, and applications make the learning process interactive by engaging students through videos, music, audio text, and physical coordination activities, which is especially beneficial for kinesthetic learners. Personalized and independent lessons on a device can also decrease stress and anxiety, and increase motivation and attention. Chromebooks will allow students to access curriculum-based activities at a pace and style that is unique to their individual learning needs. The use of Chromebooks in the classroom will also increase students motivation and attention, while ultimately helping improve their academic achievement. from my iPhone
