The use of technology in this day and age is an every day need. Everyone has iphones, you can find the name of the song by asking Siri, you can see what your best friend had for dinner on Facebook. Technology really has become an important aspect of our daily lives. I feel that adding 2 iPads to my classroom will encourage, engage, and enhance my teaching, and my students' learning. My goal, as a teacher, is to prepare and encourage my students to be life long learners! We will use these iPads to complete Science Stations, where students can scan QR codes and watch Science discoveries, read aloud science texts, and even take and upload pictures on to their Class Dojo accounts, which will in turn, save paper!! It's a win-win!! Students will also be able to video other students completing book reports, as well as book advertisements, to encourage their classmates to read that book!
