Everything that I am asking for will be used to enrich the learning of my students. Not only will it make some abstract concepts more concrete, but it will allow the students to actually actively participate in science rather than just be lectured on science. I have already figured out when and how each item will be used to benefit my students. The thermometers and UV beads will be used with our unit on weather. The animals will be used to explore and discuss animal habitats and animal adaptations. The bouncy bands will help with engagement. By donating to this project you will help increase my students' love of learning, by bringing learning to life. As a 21st century teacher, I want to give my students the skills necessary to be successful in school and in life.
