We have students from grades 2nd to 5th grade in our enhanced autism classroom. These materials will go to helping each of our students succeed to the best of their ability.
We would be using these items to help our students reach their full potential in our classroom. The books chosen on our list were books that our students enjoy to read. Some of the items on our list help with fine motor skills for some of our students that need more help in those areas. Some of the items, like the kinetic sand, are to help with reinforcements that help reward our students for completing the tasks and work given to them, and some items like the legos help our students with building and expressing themselves. Some items on the list are there to help us organize our students and the work they complete, like the use of the rolling office organizer. Lastly, there are items on the list like file folders and velcro and other items to help us create learning material for our students.
Each of our students are unique and special in their own ways and we, as teachers, want them to reach their full potential in their learning abilities. They are all at different learning levels and have different things that motivate them. We want our students to learn to their highest abilities and reach their fullest potential.
Every item and every donation goes to helping our students learn and grow. Each of our students has their own unique learning abilities and we want these tools to help our students grow into the successful adults that they can be.
