My school takes part in an intense reading hour called Power Hour. I have a diverse group of learners who would highly benefit from centers and materials that will reach them on their level. Having these centers will help keep my students excited, interested, and engaged in increasing their reading abilities. These centers will help me to address the wide learning gap that my students have and help to either bring them up to grade level proficiency or raise them above their current level. These centers will help me to challenge my students and push them to go further than they thought was possible. These centers will show my students that the community is invested in seeing them succeed and that there are people that believe in their ability to learn as much as I do.
