I entered my classroom last year as a first-year teacher and found that I had inherited a mountain of books that had seen better days. Loose bindings, bent pages, torn covers and all with publishing dates from the Carter administration or older. As much as I appreciated the head start on my classroom library, it didn't surprise me when the majority of my books spent the year collecting dust on the shelves. With your help, I want to build a classroom library that my students can get genuinely excited about utilizing. Additionally, the composition books will allow students to complete and keep track of their daily warm-ups. The world map is sorely needed for my students to reference as they learn about ancient civilizations across four continents. Any assistance in reaching my goal is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
