As a 2nd-year math teacher, I've learned that students get excited about doing their work when art is involved. I want to provide work that allows students to draw and color while learning and practicing. This is how I plan to use crayons, color pencils, and chart paper.
Dry erase markers are more fun than pencil and paper. Kids love doing their work with a dry erase marker, so I want to give students dry erase markers and whiteboards to write on.
Sometimes students don't have the supplies needed to be successful, so I want to make it easier by providing supplies such as paper and pencils.
All of my supplies will be used to provide a fun, engaging, worry-free environment to my students.
