Many of my students cannot access the general education classroom due to issues arising from behavioral and social/emotional disabilities. This includes computer classes and access to computer labs and the library. The computers in my room are outdated (running Windows 7) and take FOREVER to boot up. They freeze and shut down randomly. Imagine students with disabilities such as anxiety, stress related disorders, and those with no frustration tolerance being asked to use those computers. We have to rely on borrowing Chromeboooks or laptops from the library, and many times they are not available because classroom teachers borown them for an entire class.
