The students will use the learning guides for rocks and animals, tracking games, and scavenger hunts to identify features in their natural spaces both at home and at school. The students will also learn to use maps in this class so I am building up resources to have examples for students and have them learn to read them. Because I teach in an outdoor environment, I need a laminator to make my teaching resources and classroom manipulatives waterproof and last for years to come. Students will have the ability to use the guides, games, and maps in our natural areas to learn about the importance of their natural spaces and how we interact with other people and the environment.

About my class
