Thank you for reading about my project! As I begin my fifth year of teaching, I am starting in a new space with little furniture. The chosen teacher easel will allow all students to see our learning, whether they are home on the computer or back with us on their carpet space. With an extended arm I will be able to hang the stories we write together, and the songs we will sing.
As students learn to read and write, and we make our way back to the classroom, they will be welcomed with a cozy library! My students deserve a space to cherish books and I hope to be able to create that with an easily accessible library shelf and chairs that bring comfort as they develop self-regulation and calm down strategies.
