As a music teacher, one of the main goals I strive to teach our students is the ability to play an instrument, both as a soloists and with an ensemble. Playing an instrument it's a wonderful and rewarding experiences as it teaches hard work, perseverance, team work, creativity, problem solving and builds confidence.
Having Ukuleles in our Music classroom would be a game changer! Students would be able to play along with different styles of music, accompany themselves as they sing and can put into practice all the different music terms and skills we learn day to day.
These Ukuleles would open up a new world of possibilities for my students. I can just imagine us jamming together and being able to play and create as a group boosting motivation towards the development of music appreciation. Please consider funding this project, you would be making an immensely positive impact towards our school and community!
