I will have a special needs classroom this year. I would like to begin the year with a classroom that is warm and welcoming, but ordered in a way that every student will feel safe and confident. I need a rug for my classroom that provides a designated space for each student during our whole group meeting time. I think the designations will help provide an extra measure of helping the kids with their comfort, concentration and independence. They will know, "this is my spot and where I go everyday during this time. This is my spot and I know I belong!"
