We use dry erase markers to write on individual white boards during math time. This is a way to keep the students engaged and it also helps to check for understanding. I put math problems on the board and the students write their answers on their individual white boards. We do this daily, all year long, so we go through a lot of dry erase markers! Sometimes, if we run out, some of the students just have to write their answers on a piece of paper with a pencil. This doesn’t have the same effect. We would love to have dry erase markers in our class!
