Students are already buzzing in the hallways about the possibility of having a Crossfit elective in our middle school! They would love an opportunity to focus on health, fitness, and strength building.
We currently have no weight room or equipment but with some wall balls, resistance bands, and jump ropes we can easily teach the fundamentals of Crossfit and focus on good functional foundational movements.
I am also hoping to purchase some PVC pipes to work on the movements and form for Olympic lifts.
Our middle school students would not be able to afford a membership to a standard Crossfit gym which would cost upwards of $165 a month. I feel the benefits of this type of training will both physically and mentally benefit our students. Thank you for your time and consideration!
