We are in a high poverty section in Milwaukee. Our resources are very limited. Our staff has been down sized. I love my bilingual K4 classroom. They love coming to school and are always eager to learn. It is sad that sometimes I spend more time translating because every book or material I receive is in english. My students are from different background but they all put in the same effort when it comes to learning. Their parents have very little or no schooling at all, and my students come to school sad when their homework couldn't get done because mom and dad couldn't help.
