Hi! My name is Ms. Townsend! I teach at an urban middle school and run the Harry Potter Book Club after school. We get together and talk all things Harry Potter, and read the books, as well as do fun Harry Potter crafts. My students come from a variety of backgrounds. We speak 27 different languages at our school, so reading and writing are so important to us. I love supporting language arts by running the Harry Potter Book Club to help students gain a love for reading. With this project, we will be able to have physical books to help us as we listen and read to ourselves the books of the Harry Potter series. We have set a goal to read all of the series this year!
