Unfortunately, my students struggle with having nice things since Hurricane Harvey. Thankfully, our campus was not destroyed in Harvey, but the furniture has taken a toll throughout the years. My students have brought to my attention how others use a vast amount of technology in their classroom, but we are not able to due to the lack of the resources. I am requesting that instead of looking outside the box look directly in the middle of the box and imagine having our world is shifting to a technology savvy environment and my students are stuck outside looking in with only a pencil and paper.
