By making our classroom activities as interactive as possible, students take more ownership of their learning and work. They are eager to engage in lessons that play to different skill sets and forms of intelligence.
When lessons involve color, movement, and cooperation with other children, students of all abilities are able to experience success. I would like for each group of students to have a laminated map to refer to, rather than there simply being one large map on a wall. This way, they learn about countries and regions up close and personal. Every object in our room should serve a purpose!
