By donating to our STEM and dramatic play materials you will help our little learners build their collaborative skills. One of the goals of having these materials is providing time and tools to foster peer/team building, working together to complete a project.
The importance of purposeful play cannot be overlooked - it allows students the opportunity to problem solve on their own as well as with their peers. These materials give students multiple ways of growing their collaborative, social/emotional and mechanical skills. By engaging in hands-on experiences during their early schooling, I hope to instill a lifelong love of learning and to show them that learning opportunities take many different forms.
Having the materials in my classroom to promote social/emotional and collaborative skills through the use of STEM and dramatic play activities would be wonderful and greatly appreciated.
