All the books in the project will be used to build a multicultural reading library for my students that come from Latino backgrounds. Students will use these books during their independent reading time to practice reading comprehension strategies with just right high interest level books. These multilingual books will support students love of reading and also help them in their transition to read in English. Having relatable characters and stories will help students grow as readers, and motivate them to read more. The Authentic Spanish Language kit will help provide more books for the student's Spanish library. Those who donate to this project will help newcomer English language learners read books that interest them.

About my class
