Currently, my classroom has a very large, out dated storage cart for our Chromebooks. It takes up too much space in my small classroom, doesn't have brakes, constantly unplugs leaving us with dead Chromebooks, and doesn't have a backside storage area for chargers leaving us with tangled messes daily. If we received this compact storage cart, our Chromebooks would be easily accessible, ready to use all the time, and would increase our learning time while decreasing our transition time when getting our Chromebooks in and out of the cart. We use our Chromebooks during several small increments throughout the day. We are constantly, in and out of the storage cart. It needs to be in a central location in my room, but since we have such a large cart, I cannot keep it where need it. Also, charging cords are constantly getting tangled and falling out of the cart, then the doors cannot shut. Having 20 plus cords inside the cart and trying to keep them organized and untangled is very difficult in a classroom of second graders.
