I work with high school students. Many of them are having a hard time emotionally after the pandemic. We have serious issues with mental health and depression.
I intend to use these tools to help my students learn better coping mechanisms. They may use a stress ball to squeeze away anxiety; they may use coloring books to relax and focus on something other than the triggering event. These skills will become essential strategies for a lifetime of success.
I included some tools to improve my mental health; standing at the desk and ensuring enough movement helps me help them. When I am in a better place mentally, I am even stronger at my job.
