Students will be able to read in a comfortable environment. Students will be able to relax and feel at home while they read and work on their AR goals. This will help improve their reading comprehension skills. By providing students with a "reading corner" with flexible seating, it will be used as an incentive to push them towards reading more. Each day students will have 30 minutes in class to use the reading corner to finish their AR books and to take AR test. Students have a goal they must meet by the end of each 9 weeks of the school year. This space will allow them to do that with ease.
