We are building an outdoor garden to give our students another avenue to learn through. This storage shed will house all of the tools we need to engage the students in preparing, planting, tending, and harvesting the vegetables. We have an amazing community that wants to be involved in the project as well. The senior citizens center is right next to the school and we are setting up a Gardening with Grandparents program. Our high school FFA program is also coming down to help teach our students about gardening. This garden will really pull our community together, bringing young and old to our school and growing not only a garden, but an extended family.

About my class
