The students enjoy moving around the room, sitting with new friends and exchanging new ideas as they book talk and write throughout Writer’s Workshop. Some children have trouble sitting still and would benefit from bouncing or kicking a band with their feet. Turning in a chair or rocking would be ideal for 1 student in particular with ADHD. I’m confident that these students will enjoy writing and reading even more then ever if they had flexible seating at their fingertips. I also would love to be able to read to the class and have a few students sit on these seats without constantly getting up.

About my class
