This project will help us bring flexible seating into our classroom. Our students would love a comfy spot to complete work and achieve goals. Couches for staff to sit with students to help with reading. Couches for a calming room. Materials such as couches and seats to sit in more cozy spots will help nurture the desire to learn. We are trying to create a cozy spot in our classroom for teachers to sit with students to help with reading as well as a calm spot to calm down. Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. During independent work times they choose a location in the classroom that works for them.
