This project will give the students a library of music from which to choose to learn and perform/entertain our elderly citizens at their community centers and nursing homes. We do not currently have music selections to choose from. Requested music includes Waitress - Vocal Selections: The Irresistible New Broadway Musical, Contemporary Broadway Vocal Duets, The King's Singers Book of Rounds, Canons and Partsongs, Broadway Sheet Music Collection, and Dilworth Rollo Choir Builders for Growing Voices. This sheet music and other music teaching materials will help support the chorus classes daily and our small group chorus project performances. There is no budget for the chorus class within the school district. We must fund raise for any sheet music or materials needed. The chorus performs at the State Veteran's home and local elderly community events like the senior citizen prom.
