I want to provide a classroom that promotes curiosity and exploration. In science, I will set up daily stations for students to explore in teams. I will facilitate opportunities for oral language in which both ESOL students and others can practice language skills as well as social skills. They can, in turn, write about their observations. Love it! “Combinatory play seems to be the essential feature in productive thought.” Albert Einstein. That is why I am also super excited about the Puppet Theater! We have several stories and fairy tales in our curriculum that provide opportunities for the students to create finger puppets and masks and act out the stories. Having opportunities for the students to engage in oral language and working together as part of a team builds a foundation for rigorous learning to occur. Is important that my students want to learn for them to be engage in their learning. Please help me to provide a classroom that is language rich, full of fun and kindness! Thank you for your consideration.
