I spend several months out of the year teaching fourth grade how to play the recorder. We currently don't have enough stands for the 4th graders to practice in class or for their concerts. Other grades have been working to read music and play in other ensembles that leave them in need of stands. We would like to be able to perform more instrumentally driven ensemble work, but need more stands in order to be able to perform at our highest abilities. The students are driven to be the best musicians they can be and love instrumental work. These stands would provide them with the ability to expand that outlet.
