The donations to this project will help to create our active classroom! Some students can sit for hours and focus, others simply can't. Having systems in place to allow students to move around and stand-up without the fear of being a disruption keeps the energy in the classroom flowing and minds engaged. Choices involving physical space help students learn to make decisions about their own learning preferences as they analyze what works best for them as an individual.
Additionally, these materials help to decrease the impacts on the physical health of our students from the increasingly sedentary modern lifestyle.
