My children come from a high poverty area. Our school does not have the funds to supply the students with the adequate materials to conduct experiments. Hands on experiments are required for them to better understand the science concepts. To better assist these students and prepare them for a better future, I generally have to use my personal funds to purchase items needed for experiments, which limits the amount of experiments that we can complete.
