My class will be challenged to read the 15 books that have been named on the Sunshine State Young Readers Award Jr. list for the year. My students will participate in this reading challenge to encourage and inspire a thirst and a love for reading! At the end of the challenge, our PTO will be rewarding those who persevere with a fun event that includes something any first grader would adore: a ride in a chicken limo! Yes, it's exactly what it sounds like - a limo dressed in a chicken costume. Please help my students reach their goals by putting the books on the shelves of our library!
