My students have been asking for me to purchase a rug. Currently, my class sits on the cold floor when we have "carpet time" due to me being a first year teacher and lacking funds to buy a carpet. Carpet time is where we all gather as a class each and every day to share stories, talk about our day, make friends, and learn new things. Every classroom needs a meeting rug. A comfortable place to come together. A rug is not just a decoration, but a comfortable place to build our classroom community. This rug will brighten up our classroom and help create a welcoming learning environment that will last for years.
