My school has a strong emphasis on literacy this year. I am new to Kindergarten this year and I do not have a large library for my students to select books from. It is important that they see my room as a room that loves books and reading! I need more books for them. A book is a GIFT you can open again and again. With your help,​ I can provide books that my students will be able to read on their own and with their parents at home. Many of my students do not come from homes with children's books. I want to provide a take-home book bag to each one of my students so that they can take home several books a week to read at home and return.
