Osmo has a variety of educational interactive games for students to learn content. Having this within my science lab would benefit my students who finish a lab activity early in addition to students who express an interest in coding and learning how things work.
STEM labs are a place for students to work collaboratively and learn problem solving skills, Osmo is perfect for changing the way kids collaborate, create, think critically, and communicate. Having my own Osmo base and games for my classroom means that my students will have access to use it at all times and I do not have to worry if another teacher has checked it out from the media center. This allows me to have it as a constant center rotation.
