Make a donation Mrs. Rimmer can use on her next classroom project.
As a first-year teacher, the following materials that I am requesting for my students will benefit them greatly as they will give them opportunities to learn in a variety of ways. For example, using clipboards and dry-erase boards around the room will give them a chance for kinesthetic learning and so they can work at a place where they are comfortable. The pencils, markers, and other supplies of the sort will be used by the students, so that they can create different projects throughout the school year. The organizational baskets will be placed on the shelves in the back of our classroom to give the students a model of how to take responsibility of their materials. I will use the timer as a visual so that my students know how much work time they have left, as a lot of students need a warning before being cut-off. We will use the chart paper to create anchor charts that reflect the discussions we have during our mini-lessons. The calendar and classroom poster materials will be used to create whole group discussions each morning and used as resources throughout the day.
The donations to this project will help to improve my student's learning in a modern and multi-disciplinary way.
By providing the different opportunities for learning visually and kinestetically, the student's will thrive in meeting their academic goals. We will use these materials to aide us in the process of becoming life-long learners. As the teacher, I have done extensive research and reading on what materials I will need to aide my students in meeting their academic goals. Yet I truly need your support to make these opportunities possible for my students. Thank you!!
