Our students require much more practice -- and in additional formats -- to learn the academic skills their non-disabled students acquire much more easily. These iPads will help our students with repeated multi-sensory practice to help them learn.
Our students use a work-to-earn system wherein their academic day is perforated by periodic breaks where they can "earn" a highly-preferred item. For most of our kids, that highly-preferred item is a tablet! Technology helps motivate our students to participate in tasks longer.
