My students come from all over NYC. Their families come from across the social and economic spectrum. They also come from around the world. My students are generally excited about math and always excited to share and teach their ideas. Our goal is create a community that supports learning math and embraces each student as a teacher. They love to color, organize and invent presentations. We hang their work on chart paper and they get excited. It is even more fun when they read and learn from the work of other students.
