My co-teacher and I primarily teach freshmen. For the 2019-2020 school year we will be inheriting freshmen who primarily come from math classrooms with flexible seating. We are asking for tables that adjust in order to provide continuity for our students learning environment.
Having these tables as well will offer different space for our students to work in smaller groups and provide a comfortable space for intervention. These tables will also allow our students to be in an environment to collaborate with each other where they can talk and grow in mathematics.
The dry erase board and markers will allow our students to practice mathematics where they can feel free to make mistakes and grow in those mistakes. The dry erase boards also allow us to add in practice sheets or graphs where we will be able to use them for other class periods as well
