These texts will add to the diversity of out literature circle texts. Our students deserve to see themselves and their experiences reflected in literature. They deserve opportunities to make such connections. They need to hear the voices of diverse and talented people who have not historically been given their fair share representation, attention, and accreditation. I would like to include texts in my classroom that cover a greater range of experiences. I believe students will enjoy and learn from these texts. Please help me invite my students on a journey of reading the world. I appreciate your support in doing so.
