As a first-year teacher, I am trying to find any and all ways possible to best support all of my students. This fall, I will be teaching 24 first grade students, all of which come from an urban public school district. These 24 first graders are a very diverse group of students and have diverse and unique backgrounds. First grade is a very big and eventful year! We will learn to be amazing readers and writers, mathematicians and scientists, and how to be a caring and cooperative community member inside and outside of our classroom. Please help support our classroom with the basic classroom supplies needed, supplies that will help differentiate student-learning, materials that will make learning fun and engaging, etc. Any donation would make the greatest difference in our classroom.
