In my co-teaching classroom, we give students a choice in their seating according to comfort. Physical comfort has an effect on students mood and learning. The students in my class are allowed to choose their seating biweekly. We are going back - retro- and will now have a Route 66 Across America theme. This will allow students to see how family values, family time, and having good character really played a part in becoming good citizens. These new stools will be seated at the "Winston's Diner" where students will dine on Reading Comprehension, Math Facts, Geography, and Good Character. All students will rotate through the Diner.
